Underfloor Heating installation at new Acute Mental Health Unit Llandough Hospital, Vale of Glamorgan

Ecofit Energy Systems has been selected to install the Underfloor heating system at the £100m new AMHU at Llandough Hospital in the Vale of Glamorgan.  The Isocrete designed PE-RT underfloor heating installation extends over a heated area in excess of 15,000 square metres, across all four floors of the new building. The installation also includes distribution manifolds with flow meters and Kingspan TF70 high efficiency insulation for the heated and unheated areas. 

The new unit will cater for up to 135 patients, offering general health and psychiatric intensive care, plus supportive recovery.
